Homemade Oatmeal Protein Bars Recipe Variations

You can really mix up the flavors in these bars — based on your personal preferences or whatever you have in the house.

Try a different type of nut butter or a flavored protein powder.

You could also use white chocolate instead of dark chocolate.

And trying different nuts, seeds, or dried fruit will really change the flavor without any extra effort.

Homemade Protein Bars Recipe Tips

  • Make sure you use enough honey and peanut butter so the mixture sticks together well.
  • Take a few extra minutes to make sure everything is well combined.
  • Don’t try to eat them too quickly — let them set for the full 2 hours in the freezer so they are nice and firm.

How to Store Healthy Homemade Protein Bars

Keep these bars in a tightly-sealed container in the refrigerator or freezer.
